Data Center Cooling
Our data centers feature N+1 design with densities over 200 watts per square foot. CoreLink implements best practices and state-of-the-art data center cooling technologies to ensure sound operational practice and stable environmental conditions for your equipment.
Features of Data Center Cooling Equipment
- Designed, engineered and operated based on industry best-practices
- Hot-row, cold-row data center cooling configurations
- 42" deep cabinets allow the necessary room for today's deeper servers, but also allow for better cable management to ensure that airflow from the servers is not blocked
- Blanking panels in all open RU space to prevent bypass-air and hot air recirculation
- Under floor plenum with minimal to zero obstructions
- Metered PDUs are used to ensure no circuit loading goes unnoticed, as well as provide critical input for capacity management
- Higher than standard density requirements are met with either passive data center cooling methods, such as those available from Chatsworth (Vertical Exhaust Duct System), or active supplemental cooling methods, such as those available from APC (in-row cooling)
Climate Control
The climate is controlled by way of precision air condition systems. CoreLink has 20-ton and 30-ton Computer Room Air Conditioners (CRAC) units located in each colocation room.
CRAC units are piped to data center cooling towers, chillers or condensers located in a secured exterior area. The CRAC units are set to 72 degree set-point, and continuously monitor the data center environment within a 2 degree tolerance, and add humidity, cool or heat as needed to maintain that set point condition.
Our data centers also have temperature and humidity sensors located in each colocation room to ensure that environmental conditions are appropriate and stable.

"I recently signed with CoreLink and the experience has been without rival in the industry.
Everyone there from the sales executive who sold me into CoreLink to the technical staff went above and beyond their job duties during the vendor selection process and implementation. They really excel in customer support and knew exactly what I needed to be successful with my business plan - from right sizing my power requirements to offering flexible contracts with full SLA support. I am very confident with my business model and partnership with CoreLink Data Centers. I am recommending them to all of my existing clients and potential business partners."
